PAST EVENT: First opening hour of the semester

LiU Student Secondhand offers a variety of secondhand furniture for you to furnish your new (or old) home. By buying through us, you can give old furniture a new home - both the environment and your wallet will thank you! ❤️

WHEN?

- Sunday August 15, 11 am to 2 pm.

WHERE?

- LiU Student Secondhand at Campus Valla, A-building, Entrance 19, basement level.

WHO?

- Only LiU students, so bring your LiU card or acceptance letter (new students) for identification.

HOW?

- We recommend that you sign up beforehand if you want to come by, because the number of customers we can accept at a time is limited due to Covid-19. You can also just drop by, but in that case we cannot guarantee a queue-less experience.

▪️ If you want to BUY furniture: Check out the items we currently have in our shop on our webpage www.liustudentsecondhand.se beforehand (recommended).

⚠️ It is not possible to make reservations, so if you find something you like make sure to be there and buy it quickly - once you bought it, it is yours!

▪️ If you want to SELL or DONATE furniture: Visit our webpage at https://www.liustudentsecondhand.se/hand_in and fill in the form for handing in furniture. That way you’ll know if your item will be accepted or not before you bring it to our shop. 

❗ Need help with transportation? ❗

▪️ We offer free usage of our tricycle and/or our bike + bike cart, for transportation of items that are difficult to carry yourself. ? 

Please note that a borrowed bike needs to be returned to the shop within 1.5 hours and that a deposit of your ID is required. Find more information here: https://www.liustudentsecondhand.se/transport 

▪️ For bigger furniture like sofas, we’ll offer a free transportation event at the beginning of September. Make sure you follow us on Facebook to not miss updates about that event. ?

⚠️ COVID: We follow the general guidelines set up by the Health Agency of Sweden and Linköping University. We ask our customers to keep a safe distance inside the shop as well as at the entrance, especially if waiting outside is required.
